The Porsche 911 - the Porsche par excellence - was born in 1963 and has since then firmly established itself in the automotive world. The Porsche 996, in turn, was the first model in the 911 series in which Porsche relied on a water-cooled engine, which was also used in its successor, the Porsche 997.
